A closer look at the 1991 Marchon HO slot car concept track – Sky Fighters. To Kool for Skool ?!? Wishing an doing are not the same thing. For a slot car set, it is a very complex to assemble. The risk of breaking parts is high. Then the cars do not run well with the jet bodies. The bodies add a lot of weight and make it difficult to drive the cars. It doesn’t turn out to be any sort of ‘combat game’ with both lanes running. One car always seems to be stuck somewhere or off the track so there is no continuous rhythm between players. But, the box art sure is cool !!

Thanks for the good review. I would've liked to have seen what you meant by trying to run the two together but well done.
Perhaps if you ran two cars simultaneously, the draw of electricity would cause the cars to go a little bit slower and perhaps stay on the track a little longer.
Anyway, I'm a slot car collector and I've been using them since the 70s, but I've got to say, even when this thing was brand-new and I was most likely a little kid, I wouldn't have got this because it just looks so ridiculous.
I had no idea this thing existed until just now.
Good video and thank you for sharing.
I had this as a child and it was a Rip off. One of the planes didn’t work when we had it set up. Would love to go back in time and tell my 8 year old self not to ask for it for Christmas
A custom layout works fine.
